I am a fully qualified teacher and violinist having worked for the County Music Service (now www.cornwallmusicservicetrust.org) for over 15 years delivering individual, group and whole class lessons and also working with local string ensembles and the Cornwall Youth Orchestra. Currently I Conduct Restormel Junior Strings.
Born in Merthyr Tydfil South Wales, I started the piano at the age of 4 and the Violin at 10. I worked my way up through the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Mid Glamorgan Youth Orchestras having passed Grade 8 on both Violin and Piano by the age of 16 and then onto the National Youth Orchestra of Wales.
I attended Cardiff University where I studied music (B.Mus.(Hons.)), and then on to Swansea University for my teaching qualification (P.G.C.E).
